Use skills like long shot when a enemy is frozen. Then if they are in the way let them run away and use your tank to draw attention to them. Micro managing their skills is pointless.

So far only thing you need to make sure is your 3 companions attack the same enemy but they already do that automaticly. The weird thing is very little is actually in your control and so far (in the first region of the game, but i do play on nightmare) i barely have to do anything. At least now i feel a little bit like i understand what the game wants from me and how i play it. But so far i'm getting a little bit more into it now, in DAI's combat. Its just To much of a power leap and not fun. I thikn i have decided and i will just sell them and not use them. Valygar went from ''He is ok, maby weakest companion i have'' to ''the most dangerous one.'' That girdle and sword is one thing already. And the boots make him so fast he can run away after a backstab and the AI does not follow xD. The katana is already a 1d10 weapon + 3 damage + chance to stun. This 19 strength compared to 17 gives a HUGE damage boost. And then the boots of speed cause he can backstab. Then i obtained this insanely good katana after a really hard fight. The day after i gave my stalker/ranger (valygar) the girlde of ogre strength with 19 strength, so he could use a composite longbow wich requires 19 strength (or 18 normally).

Its just that 2 days ago i felt challenged in BG2 (hard mode). It makes open areas feel smaller cause you can explore like a mad man.
